Latest Update to Contact Information:
May 17, 2013
How we use the address information we ask you for:
Contacting the Congress DOES NOT retain copies of any address information you enter in order to determine who your members of Congress are. However, if you enter a ground mail address, we do pass your address to the United States Post Service website in order to determine your 9-digit ZIP code. Furthermore, we do retain a record of which webpages we generated during your visit.
If you are concerned about providing your address to this website (or via our service, to the United States Post Service website), most of the time, you can enter just your 5-digit ZIP code to determine who your members of Congress are.
Our Advertising:
Contacting the Congress uses third-party advertising companies (currently including Google Adsense) to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies to track information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies (including how to opt out of all such "behavioral advertising"), click here.
