Data for the current session of Congress
The following files are automatically updated whenever the Contacting the Congress database is updated. They are provided for your non-commercial use. If you do download one of these files, my only "requirement" is that you please do not print the whole document and that you do not resell this data for profit. Because a few idiots have already done this, the files have been reduced to just that information that will interest small groups (rather than lobbyists) the most.

• Current ASCII Version ( 70K - Last Updated: January 25, 2012 10:44:49 CST ): This a formated ASCII version of the current database for the 112th Congress, containing DC phone, District Phone, and email addresses. It does not contain WWW site information!. This version is updated when the site updates and contains additional information on effectively communicating with Congress.
• Current Tab-delimited Version ( 85K - Last Updated: January 25, 2012 10:44:49 CST ): This simple tab-delimited ASCII version of the current database for the 112th Congress. It is the most complete publically available version of the Contacting the Congress database. It contains everything in the ASCII version listed above and Congressmembers' DC office address and WWW URL. This version is updated when the site updates and is designed for easy input into almost any database program. Information about the format of the database can be found here.
• Format of Current Tab-delimited Version ( 4.3K - Last Updated: March 12, 2003 12:57:28 CST ): Information about the format of the Tab-delimited database is in this file, including specific information about legal usage of the file.

Any information in these files could be out of date. They are provided mostly for archival purposes.

• The 111th Congress (ASCII Version) ( 70K - Last Updated: December 20, 2010 10:18:50 CST ): This a formated ASCII version of the database for the 111th Congress, as it was in late 2010. It is the same format as the ASCII Version for the 111th Congress.
• The 111th Congress (Tab-delimited Version) ( 83K - Last Updated: December 20, 2010 10:18:50 CST ): This simple tab-delimited ASCII version of the database for the 110th Congress as it was in late 2010. It is the same format as the database for the 111th Congress.
• The 110th Congress (ASCII Version) ( 67K - Last Updated: December 1, 2008 15:50:01 CST ): This a formated ASCII version of the database for the 110th Congress, as it was in late 2008. It is the same format as the ASCII Version for the 111th Congress.
• The 110th Congress (Tab-delimited Version) ( 83K - Last Updated: January 4, 2007 09:53:13 CST ): This simple tab-delimited ASCII version of the database for the 110th Congress as it was in late 2008. It is the same format as the database for the 111th Congress.
• The 109th Congress (ASCII Version) ( 64K - Last Updated: January 4, 2007 09:53:21 CST ): This a formated ASCII version of the database for the 109th Congress, as it was in late 2006. It is the same format as the ASCII Version for the 111th Congress.

It is the same format as the database for the 111th Congress (although it includes DC FAX numbers).
• The 104th Congress (ASCII Version) ( 59K - Last Updated: January 9, 1997 10:37:27 CST ): This a formated ASCII version of the database for the 104th Congress, as it was on January 9th, 1997. It is a similar format as the ASCII Version for the 111th Congress (although it includes DC FAX numbers).
