I made the last changes to the Congressional Directory for the year.  Mostly consisted of edits to get this site back in sync with the Congress Merge database.  Changes were made to some committee/subcommittee membership rosters as well as some district office information.

Just did some minor sundry updates to the Congressional Directory to get it back in sync with Congress Merge’s database.

Updates to two contact form web addresses for members of the House today:

• Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer (R – MO) has a new web contact form address.
• Representative Rick Berg (R – ND) has a new web contact form address.

Well, I am finally recovered enough from Thanksgiving and the post-Thanksgiving teaching rush to make updates to the Congressional Directory:

• Representative Mike Rogers (R – AL) and Representative Joe Baca (D – CA) have new web contact form addresses.
• We have some updates to district office information for two representatives and one senator.
• Sundry updates to Senate Committee and Subcommittee information.

A minor update to the Congressional Directory today reflecting some House subcommittee assignments and some staffing changes in the House.

Updated the congressional directory to reflect new web contact form addresses for Representative Chellie Pingree (D – ME) and Representative Al Green (D – TX).

Traffic is starting to rise. Most of the rise seems to be attributable to inbound links from sites urging people to stop the United States Congress from imposing internet censorship via the SOPA law as a means of stopping piracy.  Frankly, I think it is despicable that the best solution that Congress can come up with is to copy the Syrian approach to using wholesale censorship to deal with a contract law problem.  Sort of like using an atomic bomb to kill a fly.  Its nice to see most of the major internet companies seem to agree.

I have updated the Congressional Directory for the following recent changes:

• Updated the Twitter feed information for a few House members.
• Representative Ben Quayle (R – AZ), Representative Todd Young (R – IN) , and Representative John Culberson (R – TX) have new web addresses for their web contact forms
• Noted the opening of five new House and Senate district offices and the closing of two district offices for members of the House.
• Updated some information on House members’  staff.
• Minor updates for various members biographical information.

I was out of town serving on a National Science Foundation panel, and then playing catch up, so I haven’t had a chance to apply updates in over a week.  Luckily its been pretty quiet.  The changes include:

• New online contact form web addresses for Representative Bob Goodlatte (R – VA), Senator Marco Rubio (R- FL), and Senator Jay Rockefeller (D- WV).
• Sundry changes to membership listings for Senate Committees and Subcommittees.
• Noted a new district office opening for a House member.

I’ve been very busy at work, so I hadn’t done updates in a little over a week.  I fixed a broken link to the Bureau of Indian Affairs website on the Other Branches page.  There have also been a huge number of updates to the congressional directory incorporated into it this evening:
