Some minor updates before the big one for the 110th Congress.

Just a minor update to reflect staffing changes in 4 House offices and some district office updates. I have also updated the ZIP Code to Congressional District database to match the latest information from Congress Merge.

Well Congress is back in session with two new members of Congress, including Rep. Shelley Sekula Gibbs (R-TX) who will only server from now until January 3!

Just another quick update of some contact information, mostly small corrections.

There have been updates over the last few weeks, but I had been lazy in noting them. Now I simply note the removal of Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) who resigned after emails and instant messages were released that clearly indicated he was having conversations of a sexual nature with underage male pages working in his office. This from the head of the Congressional Missing and Exploited Children’s Caucus! The really sick bit is its clear at least some of the congressional leadership knew about this for the last 10 months and are now claiming Foley lied to them about the content of the emails (see this CNN story). How the heck did the leadership think they could keep this hidden DURING AN ELECTION YEAR!?!? And people wonder why I think politicians really deserve little respect sometimes.

Updated the database, making the folloing changes:

• Changes made to the contact information for Representative Dennis Moore (D-KS) and Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX).
• 19 changes were made in House Committee membership information.
• 16 changes were made to Senate staff information.

Another quick update to catch up to the changes over the last week while I was on vacation. According to my records, my site had its 5 millionth visitor sometime on July 4th!
