Fixed the interface with the US Postal Service so that 9-digit ZIP code lookup works again. Also updated the website database to match the current Congress Merge database.

I updated some district office information and also tweaked the letter-writing engine a bit to re-synchronize with the changes implemented by Congress Merge.

I made some corrections to the Spanish on the main homepage (“”Contactando”" is not terribly correct Spanish). I also synchronized to the Congress Merge database which resulted in the following changes:

• 11 changes in House member contact information.
• 60 changes in House staff information.
• 202 changes in House district offices.
• 1 change in Senate member contact information.
• 15 changes in Senate staff information.
• 157 changes in Senate district offices.

I applied the following changes

• 3 changes have been made in House member contact information.
• 121 changes have been made in House district offices.
• 3 changes have been made in Senate member contact information.
• 11 changes have been made in Senate district offices.

Re-synchronized to latest Congress Merge data.

It has been a busy month since returning to teaching at St. Cloud State University. I apologize for the recent lack of updates. Things should improve now that I have re-synchronized my software with the Congress Merge database.

I have finially finished my cross-country move to my new job, which ironically, is the same job I had 2 year ago. In any case, I have now settled in Minnesota and re-synchronized the Congressional Contact database with that of Congress Merge again.

Just another site update to synchronize the database to that of my data provider, Congress Merge.
