Changed the email address for Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) and added the newly elected Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC).

Fixed a serious glitch in the database software (all my fault) which made the software look for non-existent data. This is hopefully the last hiccup involved in my moving this site to a new account. This has been fixed.
On the contact information side of things: I updated the names of 35 Administrative Assistants, 50 Appointment Secretaries, 45 Legislative Directors, and 64 Communications Directors. And in response to the continued closure of the Hart Senate Office Building, I have updated several DC Phone numbers (for 6 Senators) and DC FAX numbers (for 13 Senators).

I switched the link to a non-functional email address for Senator Tim Hutchinson (R-AR) into a link to a functional web mail address. I have also finally relented, I am changing email addresses so that I don’t continue to get spammed to death (over 80% of my email is now spam). Anyone wanting to communicate with me, will have to, at least initially, use this webform.

A few more webforms shifted around, 2 senators and a Representative changed in this shuffle (I lost the change record).

Updated email information for the following members of Congress:

• Representative Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. (D-IL): Removed a non-functional email address and removed his (campaign) website, since it is not meant for constituents to communicate with him per se.
• Representative William O. Lipinski (D-IL): Replaced email with WriteRep.
• Senator Mark Dayton (D-MN): Replaced email with a custom webform.
• Representative William (Bill) Clay (D-MO): Replaced email with WriteRep.
• Representative Harold E. Ford, Jr. (D-TN): Replaced email with WriteRep.

Along with various updated email addresses over the last few days, I have made updates (fixing typos and noting new personel) to 10 Administrative Assistants, 9 Appointment Secretaries, 14 Legislative Directors, and 13 Communications Directors.

• Representative Robert R. Simmons (R-CT): Replaced WriteRep with a custom web form
• Representative Christopher Shays (R-CT): Replaced email with a web form

I also updated the Committees and Subcommittees database.

I have updated several email addresses for web-mail addresses recently, I will not be listing all these changes, as they are numerous and I lost the change record.

I have updated staff records on 6 Administrative Assistants, 9 Appointment Secretaries, 5 Legislative Directors, and 10 Communications Directors. I have also updated 40 DC FAX numbers to their new locations (due to the Anthrax scare). Thanks to Mike Waters of Congress Merge for all the informaiton.
