Today, Contacting the Congress got it’s 400,000th hit! Since October 6 this site has been hit 100,000 times, making this the quickest 100,000 hits ever. Most of these hits are likely due to due to the entire Starr Report/Impeachment issue motivating people to email their Congresscritters.

I updated the district phone numbers for Representative Joe Knollenberg (R-MI), thanks to Christina Balian.

Deleted the non-functional email address for Representative Paul McHale (D-PA). There are reports from several places that Congress recieved over 1000000 emails yesterday instead of the typical 80000! A lot of email is bouncing, either due to the traffic or due to Congressmember’s dropping email ccess during this flood of email. Please feel free to contact me if you have problems with an email address being reported as “”Recipient Not Found”".

I also updated incorrect district contact information for Representative Bill Luther (D-MN) (thanks to Rodger Geiger for catching this) and updated the district phone and fax numbers for Representative Ellen O. Tauscher (D-CA) (Thanks to Jerry Kellen McCracken for alerting me to the area code change).
