BIG NEWS!!! The whole Contacting the Congress WWW site has moved to a new, faster server and a new, cooler internet service provider. I hope that everything is functional, but there are bound to be a few ‘bugs’ until the dust settles (one current bug is that the counter is only counting hits since moving the site to this server).

Added the WWW homepage and email address for Representative James Greenwood (R-PA). And as David Morgan pointed out, a nice job of designing a page viewable from a text-based browser.

Updated the Guestbook to be a little nicer, placing the most recent comments up near the top of the page. I also fixed a a problem in my ZIP code database affecting Two ZIP codes in Georgia.

Added a note to Representative Bill Richardson (D-NM) regarding his likely resignation in January to become the U.S. ambassador to the U.N.

Replaced the gopher homepage for Representative Melvin Watt (D-NC) with his new WWW homepage. Cleaned up some of the text generated by the ZIP To It! search engine (mostly grammatical errors) as well as fixing a bug that sometimes occured when the search engine couldn’t match a ZIP code to a Congressional District.

Updated the ZIP To It! to include the new Congressional District layout in Louisiana (specifically, the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th districts were redrawn). Thanks again to Mike Waters at Congress Merge for the information.
