Arthur Joyce pointed out a change in telephone area codes affecting district phone numbers for the following congressmembers from Tennessee: Representative James Quillen (R-TN), Representative John Duncan Jr. (R-TN), Representative Zach Wamp (R-TN), and Representative Van Hilleary (R-TN).

Monique Buzzarte pointed out an error in the e-mail address for Representative Micheal Forbes which has been fixed. Also added an e-mail address for Senator Strom Thurmond (R-SC) and changed the e-mail address for Representative Ronald Wyden (D-OR).

David Morgan provided me with the DC fax number for Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) to replace the district one. Representative Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) got himself a WWW homepage and Representative Nita Lowey (D-NY) got e-mail.

Doug Halbert provided me with the e-mail address for Representative Brian Bilbray (R-CA). Also added WWW homepages for Representative Jay Kim (R-CA), Representative Richard Gephardt (D-MO) and Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA). Added e-mail addresses for Representative Micheal Bilirakis (R-FL) and Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-NJ). Finally, added e-mail and WW homepage information for newly elected Representative Tom Campbell (R-CA).

Added yesterday’s election winners for vacant house seats, Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL) and Representative Tom Campbell (R-CA). More information may be added shortly. Also removed Representative Walter Tucker (D-CA) from the list as he is resigning effective tommorrow, due to his conviction on federal extortion and tax evasion charges. An interesting day overall. Also added e-mail addresses for three New York representatives: Representative Peter King (R-NY), Representive Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), and Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-NY). Also changed the e-mail address for Representative Mike Ward (D-KY).

Fixed an erroneous FAX number for Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) as pointed out by Duane Voth. Added a WWW homepage for Representative David Hobson (R-OH) and a gopher homepage for Representative Glen Browder (D-AL).

After a week vacationing in the Gulf of Mexico, I returned to -15 temperatures. Brr. Anyway, back to the task of maintaining the site. First of all, the easy changes. According to Grace York’s files, the following changes have occured while I was gone: Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) got a WWW site, Representative Bill Baker (R-CA) and Representative Ronald Wyden (D-OR) got new e-mail addresses. Seantor Joe Biden (D-DE) changed his e-mail address. Collin Sadler informed me that the FAX number for Representative Bill Richardson (D-NM) was inactive. Vince Page provided me with a great deal of information about some inactive FAX numbers. The changes he noted include: Senator Bill Roth (R-DE) and Senator Larry Pressler (R-SD) both deactived their old FAX numbers and refused to give the new ones out at all! Senator Jim Jeffords (R-VT) deactivated the old number and will only disclose the new FAX numbers to Vermonters (any Vermonters out there want to pass on the information to me. ). I have also used the information he provided to update the FAX numbers for Senator Dan Coats (R-IN), Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN), Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS), and Representative Bill Thornberry (R-TX).
